What messages you'll receive
By opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Catalyst Restoration related to:
- Inspection appointment confirmations and reminders
- Technician on-route ETAs and on-site updates
- Emergency dispatch confirmations (water, fire, sewage, storm, biohazard)
- Job status updates during active restoration work
- Insurance claim and adjuster coordination updates
- Job completion notices and post-service follow-up
- Direct replies from your assigned project manager
- Renewal reminders if you carry a CatalystShield, Catalyst Pro, or Catalyst Air subscription
We do not send promotional blasts, third-party offers, or unrelated marketing material through SMS.
Message frequency
Frequency varies based on the stage and intensity of your job or subscription. Typical ranges:
- Routine inspection: 2 – 4 messages total
- Active restoration claim: 5 – 10 messages per active week
- Emergency dispatch: up to 6 messages in the first 24 hours
- Subscriber renewal cycle: 1 – 2 messages around renewal
Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Catalyst Restoration does not charge you a fee for SMS — but your carrier may. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.
Opt-in
You can opt in to this program in either of two ways:
- Check the SMS opt-in box on our booking form or any other Catalyst form that collects a phone number.
- Text START, YES, or SUBSCRIBE to our number.
Once you opt in, you will receive a confirmation message that reads:
Opt-out — reply STOP at any time
To stop receiving SMS messages from us, reply STOP to any message. We also recognize STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT.
You will receive a one-time confirmation that reads:
You can opt back in any time by texting START.
Help — reply HELP
Reply HELP, INFO, or SUPPORT for assistance. You will receive:
For any urgent restoration emergency, call 240-291-8439 directly — do not rely on SMS for time-critical safety issues.
Privacy — your number stays with us
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared or sold under any circumstance. All other categories of personal data are subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
We share your mobile number only with the messaging-platform vendor required to deliver these messages (currently Twilio), and only as needed to send the messages you requested.
Supported carriers
This service is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket Wireless, Virgin Mobile, and most regional carriers.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility
This program is intended for users 18 years of age or older in the United States. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder for the mobile phone number provided, or that you have the account holder's permission to enroll that number.
Changes to this program
We may modify or discontinue this SMS program, or change message content and frequency, at any time without notice. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. Continued participation after a change means you accept the revised terms.
