It depends on your policy and the cause of loss. Hoarding itself is a gradual condition and rarely covered as a standalone claim. However, damage from a covered loss discovered during cleanup (a burst pipe beneath the hoard, for example) may be claimable — we scope covered and non-covered work separately so the claimable portion gets claimed. Either way, Catalyst documents everything Nationwide needs and bills them directly where allowed.
